-Please let Ms.BT know if you're interested in doing some volunteer work for the Gordon Greenwood carnival on Friday, June 14th from 5pm-8pm.

-The WGSS Relay For Life team is still looking for members! Come out to Mr. Young's room (room 206) on Wednesday at lunch for more information.

-ME2WE has so far raised over $4000! $500 more and we have a well!!!

-2013/2014 TRIP TO TAIWAN- Talk to Ms.BT if you're up for an intense humanitarian experience!

-As always, feel free to drop any spare change at the next humanitarian meeting for either Graham or Zoe's jar. Your funds will be contributing to Operation Smile or to help find the cure for Muscular Dystrophy

Tuesday 12 February 2013

back from blogger hiatus!

I'm back. I'mbackbackbackback and with more news!

Interested in participating in a unique, intellectually-stimulating environment to discuss global issues? Then perhaps MUN (Model United Nations) is for you! At MUN conferences, students gather as delegates to discuss and debate real world affairs in a professional setting. Stay tuned and be sure to come to the next meeting for more information!

Students going to Langley Gardens to play bingo with the golden agers will be meeting at Walnut Grove Secondary at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, February 12.

The next trip to Vineyards will take place on Wednesday, March 6. See Sungbin Kang or David Park if you are interested!

Humanitarian club? Bowling? Together??? Stay tuned for more information.

Got any gently-used and clean clothes that you don't wear anymore? Perhaps some extra school supplies that you don't need? No problem! There will be a nice, large, clear plastic bag at Ms. Bryant-Teneda's room that will take them for you. All proceeds will be taken by Jeeba Camara to children who will really appreciate them.

Me2We will be selling $1 Candy kebobs on Tuesday, February 12 and Wednesday, February 13 for good ol' VALENTINE'S DAY. Be sure to treat your significant other with a yummy kebob- or at least yourself!

After a few month wait, WORKCORE will finally be taking place this March! Please let Ms. Bryant-Teneda know if you are interested in helping clean houses in the downtown Eastside, and also which day you would prefer to go (the 2nd or the 9th of March).

SEE YOU ALL THIS THURSDAY!
